In our basic course for Aikido beginners, those switching to Aikido and those returning to Aikido, we teach you the basics of Aikido. We practise both simple and complex movements, step sequences and techniques for safe rolling. You can experience the principles of Aikido through various solo and partner exercises.
Our members remember well the time when they themselves started with Aikido. That is why they are happy to support Aikido beginners in their first Aikido steps in the basic course.
For the first training session you will need light sportswear, sandals and everything you need for showering.
Costs CHF 90 for adults and CHF 45 for people in education.
The basic course lasts 3 months from admission.
Insurance is the responsibility of the course participants.

All training courses are open to people with previous experience. You can join the club at any time.
We recommend that people with no previous knowledge attend a basic course.
After completing the basic course, you can join the club. As a club member, you can attend all training sessions.

Membership fee
The monthly fee for club members is CHF 90 for adults and CHF 45 for people in education.
As a club member you can attend all training courses (incl. basic course), currently four lessons per week.
Location (Dojo)
The dojo of the Aikido-Atelier is located at Binzstrasse 12 in 8045 Zurich.
How to get there by train
From Zurich main station, Uetlibergbahn S10, platform 22 to the Binz stop (travel time from Zurich main station: 4 minutes)
The entrance to the dojo
The way to the dojo leads across the courtyard with the parking lots. The entrance (narrow door in the barred fence) is located directly by the barrier on the corner of Binzstr./Agnes Robmann-Weg.
